Emily de Molly: March Releases

Tuesday, March 14, 2017 Unknown 0 Comments

Hey y'all! I've got some absolutely gorgeous new Emily de Molly polishes to show you that are coming out tonight! I have eight new shades to show you, five of which are multichromes! (I do so loveeeeeee multichrome polishes and all the ones in this collection are gorgeous!!) Let's jump right into the swatches.

A Step to Climb is a pink to copper to green multichrome with a small amount of silver holo microglitter. The pink is the dominant color here, but it is a super shifty polish and you'll definitely see it shift through all the colors easily. The formula is immaculate on this. Silky smooth, easy application that leveled well and gave me zero brush stroke issues. Opaque in two coats, I did three for preference. Shown below is three coats with a glossy top coat.

Devine Conversations is a dark purple jelly with red to green iridescent glitter, green to blue iridescent flakes, silver micro glitter, and a small amount of silver holo micro-shreds. As you can tell from the swatch photos below, this is very sparkly even inside a light box. The base color is also my perfect shade of purple, so there's that too. Application was easy with this one too, smooth and opaque in two coats. I did three for better depth because I love me some squishy jelly manis. Shown below is three coats with a glossy top coat.

Flecked Division is a light gray crelly with gold to green shifting shimmer, multichrome flakies, and a small amount of silver holo micro-shreds. This one kind of reminds of of like a speckled egg. I don't know why and that's not a bad thing because it honestly just reminds me of spring, but that's what it reminds me of. lol The shimmer is a subtle in person (but noticeable) even though it doesn't show up as well in anything but the macro photos. Formula was good on this one too although a bit thicker when applying than the others in the collection. It's opaque in two coats, but like always I did three because that's my comfort zone. Shown below is three coats with a glossy top coat.

Royal Dye is a purple to red multichrome with copper holo glitter and red to green iridescent glitter. I had a harder time picking up the shift on this one in photos, but I promise it's very noticeable in person. Application was good on this one, silky smooth going on and opaque in two coats. Shown below is three (preference) with a glossy top coat.

Shallow Depths is a green to blue to purple multichrome. This one is probably my favorite out of these. The green is just such a vibrant emerald green and the formula was amazingly smooth. And it's so shifty! Love it! Application was fantastic on this, silky, silky smooth and fully opaque in two coats. Shown below is two coats with a glossy top coat.

The Descent is a red to orange to olive multichrome with a small amount of copper holographic micro glitter. It's no secret here that reds and oranges aren't among my go to colors to wear, but I actually really dig this one. I feel like it definitely has more of a bronze-copper vibe to it than what I think of when I think red and orange. Smooth and easy to apply, this is opaque in two coats. Shown below is two coats with a glossy top coat.

Too Many Moves is a blue to green to purple multichrome with a small amount of silver holo microglitter. This is basically the night sky in a bottle y'all. Seriously, this would be the perfect base for a galaxy mani. Application yet again was perfection. Smooth as pie and fully opaque in two coats. I did three just for a bit of extra sparkle. Shown below is three coats with a glossy top coat.

Whim of the Winds is a light blue holo with copper holo glitter and red to green iridescent glitter. I'd call this a blue periwinkle. Soft and delicate in appearance with the glitters giving it an extra, subtle sparkle. Application was easy on this one too. Smooth and opaque in two coats. I did three just to make sure that there was zero visible nail line (mine is harsh and tends to show with lighter colors in the light box even if you can't see it in person - super frustrating lol). Shown below is three coats with a glossy top coat.

Whew! Okay, so a million photos later and we've made it through! ;) I'm absolutely in love with these March releases - oh the multichromes! My heart be still! I don't know if I can pick a single favorite, but I definitely would have to say that my top three are Shallow Depths, Too Many Moves, and A Step to Climb. These are currently available on both the Australian website and the US/International website! Which ones are your favorites? Which are you planning on grabbing? Let me know in the comments!
